We are a group of property owners at Millennium Quay focused on improved transparency, governance and running of the Millennium Quay Development. Aiming to reduce overall running costs and improve the quality of services for all residents in our development.
We are increasingly concerned about the running of the MQ companies and especially:
- conflicting interests and lack of transparency
- contradictory and inaccurate information given to leaseholders
- weak governance
- likely inefficiencies
The Aim of our Group is to:
- Improve value for money and when possible, reduce our service charges
- Improve governance and transparency at MQ
To achieve this we will:
- Enable greater scrutiny of the companies responsible for our services charges and amenities
- Highlight contradictory and inaccurate information given by those running MQ, especially where this might camouflage untoward activity
- Increase awareness of conflicting interests, within the companies and officers responsible for running MQ.
In the independent Millennium Quay Residents Association (iMQRA)
1. Every member of the group is a property owner or resident at Millennium Quay (MQ)
2. We are truly independent. We have no commercial interest, affiliation or connection with any companies operating at MQ.
3. We have considerable knowledge of the running the MQ development through multiple years of ownership of properties in the development, attendance at AGMs and analysis of MQ related documents.
4. We have significant comparative understanding of property management related issues through our experience owning properties across London.
